This is a bag you can sling over your shoulder or unzip the strap and wear as a backpack. It is 14" tall, 14" wide with an 8" square bottom.

This hipster bag measures 6" tall by 8" wide and is 1" deep. It has pockets on the inside and a flap on the front. the narrow strap measures around 36". As you can see, I try to use fun fabric for the lining of each of my bags.

Loop Handle Purses

This horse bag is the medium sized bag and was made for a 10 yr. old who loves horses. I made the carrying strap longer so she can slide it on her shoulder. I also made this bag reversable so there are no pockets inside.

This is the smallest bag, measuring 8" wide, 6" tall and 1 1/2" tall. This bag was made for a 3 yrs. old who's Daddy and Grandpa are farmers. She loved the white daisy on the bag.

This is the medium size bag.

Hobo Bag with Tie Handle

This hobo bag measures 10" tall, 12" wide and 2" deep. The handle measures 22" long, but can be adjusted by the tie. It has a magnetic snap with a zipper pocket inside. I can add additional pockets.

Messenger Bags

Another bag I have made and has been in high demand is the messenger bag. This bag is my own creation and construction. I have used various fabrics and made it various sizes. The large bag measures 12" wide, 11" tall and 4 1/2" deep. The medium sized bag measures 10" wide, 10" tall and about 3" deep. Both bags have a zipper pocket and open pockets all around the inside perimeter of the bag, with the larger bag having double pockets. The handle/strap can be made as long as desired by the buyer and measure 2 1/2 " wide.

The floral bag is reversable, with a zipper pocket in the side wall.

Patchwork Hobo Bags

This hobo bag style has been the most popular bag I have made so far. Each bag is unique with colorful panels on the outside and fun, colorful pockets on the inside. No two bags are exactly alike. They are very roomy on the inside with a magnetic closure and are machine washable. I like to put some type of "bling" on the outside for fun. I've used ribbon, buttons, fabric flowers and leaves, iron-on sequence, pins and even sewn on buckeye's for the OSU purses. My goal is to make the buyer smile whenever they use the bag. These bags measure about 10" tall with the opening being around 12", the bottom width around 11" and the double straps measuing about 22".

Welcome to my blog with pictures and information about many of the purses I have made. This past summer, 2009, I began sewing purses - first for my daughter-in-law, Amy, then for my daughters, Bonnie and Ann. My purse making has blossomed from there. Friends and co-workers saw my work, liked it, and ordered purses from me. In the past 6 months, I have made various styles of purses - hobo bags, messenger bags. backpack/purses, diaperbags and even a Cricut bag. I am willing to custom make a purse to the best of my ability. You can tell me the colors and style you want and I can go from there.
